'Ed Show' tonight: Wed., Feb. 22, 2012

Virginia Gov.

Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell blinks!  He no longer favors requiring women to undergo a trans-vaginal ultrasound before having an abortion.  American women have scored a major victory, but it might not last.

Delegate Charniele Herring (D-VA), Minority Whip and Chair of Virginia’s Reproductive Rights Caucus, is back with Ed tonight along with Katrina Vanden Heuvel, Editor and Publisher of The Nation.

Meantime, anti-abortion lawmakers in Illinois pass their own ultrasound billTerry O’Neill, President of The National Organization for Women joins Ed for that story.

Radical Rick isn't backing down from the Satan card.   Democratic strategist Bob Shrum and Dr. James Peterson, Director of Africana Studies and Associate Professor of English at Lehigh University, will have analysis and reaction.

In Chicago, public educators are under fire yet again.  17 schools in low-income neighborhoods are slated to close and teachers and parents are fired up!  Ed will talk to Karen Lewis, President of the Chicago Teachers Union.

Donald Trump and David Letterman go at it again, this time over Mitt Romney's dog.

And in the Big Finish, even more headaches for the Republican Party.  One candidate declares a third party run, and two former candidates (including Sarah Palin) say a brokered convention might be a good idea.  Mike Papantonio, host of "The Ring of Fire" Radio Show, will have that.

It's going to be another packed @EdShow at 8pET on @msnbctv.
