Ed flew back to Iowa today to interview a surging Rick Santorum after a town hall in Muscatine. Ed was impressed with Santorum's campaign style, but will ask him some tough questions on issues like job creation and voter suppression. Ed will have a full report at 8pET on msnbc.
As Republicans rip each other apart in Iowa, the Obama re-election campaign is increasingly optimistic. We'll get the Democratic prospective from Tom Vilsack, Secretary of the US Department of Agriculture and former Democratic Governor of Iowa.
And then Ed will welcome a special panel of Dr. Caroline Heldman, Professor of Politics at Occidental University, Mayor R.T. Rybak (D-Minneapolis, MN), Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee, and Richard Wolffe, msnbc Political Analyst. They'll discuss Iowa politics and an issue that "just gets my blood boiling," voter suppression.
