It took 45 days, but George Zimmerman is finally in custody, charged with second-degree murder in the death of unarmed black teen Trayvon Martin.

Ed will have extended coverage on today’s developments with msnbc Host Rev. Al Sharpton,  Daryl Parks, attorney for the family of Trayvon Martin, Dan Gelber, Florida state Senator and a former federal prosecutor, and Mike Papantonio, host of "The Ring of Fire" radio show.

The Trayvon Martin case has put "stand your ground" laws under intense scrutiny.  Now, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and others are calling for reform.  Ben Jealous, President and CEO of the NAACP, joins Ed for that discussion.

Mitt Romney gets caught lying through his teeth about the war on women.  Then his campaign punts when asked if he supports the Ledbetter Act, saying "we'll get back to you."

The one and only Lilly Ledbetter is responding, and tonight she is Ed's EXCLUSIVE guest.

Rick Santorum didn't have the guts to take his campaign to his home-state of Pennsylvania.  But he did have the guts to slam the frontrunner  Will Santorum get behind Romney?  Ed will play some of his campaign trail attacks on the Mittster.

And in the Big Finish, U.S. Rep. Allen West whips up a new Red Scare, claiming the 76-member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus is full of commies.  Tonight, Democratic strategist Bob Shrum will respond to West's absurd remarks.

It's going to be another packed @EdShow at 8pET on @msnbctv.
