'Ed Show' playbook: Fri, Apr. 6

Wisconsin Gov.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, already facing a recall election on June 5, opened a new front in the Republican war on women today.  But President Obama isn’t backing down from the fight.

State senators Lena Taylor (D-WI) and Nina Turner (D-OH) join Ed tonight at 8pET on msnbc for reaction and anaylsis.

Also, we might just get an accurate vote for the Walker recall election.   A Wisconsin official who magically came up with enough votes to push a Republican over the top in a tight race last year steps aside after another botched vote count happens under her watch.

The new jobs numbers were good, but fell short of expectations and Republicans root for failure…again.  Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) joins Ed to discuss the GOP response.

Two more companies cut ties with the conservative ALEC after pressure from Color of Change. Ed'll ask the group's executive director, Rashad Robinson, what's the next step and check in with Mike Papantonio, host of "The Ring of Fire" Radio Show for analysis.

Defenders of discrimination are coming out of the woodwork.  msnbc Host Martin Bashir will have some choice words for the controversy at Augusta.

And in the Big Finish, one of the biggest names in American entertainment says he was the victim of racial profiling.  Michael Eric Dyson, Professor of Sociology at Georgetown University and author ("Can You Hear Me Now?”) on the explosive allegations from media mogul Tyler Perry.

It's going to be another packed @EdShow at 8pET on @msnbctv.
