Americans fall short on citizenship test

In a recent Newsweek Magazine poll 1000 people answered 10 of the 100 questions at random.  

Some of the more astonishing stats:

38% failed the whole thing.29% didn’t know who the current Vice President is.27% don’t know who is in charge of the Executive branch.6% didn’t know when Independence Day is.
