There’s something special about this speech for Obama, while it is his fifth State of the Union overall, it will be the first State of the Union address of his second term. This speech will unite him with other second-term presidents, many of which gave similarly themed second-term State of the Unions—emphasizing first-term successes while giving a road map for the agenda ahead.
