75 years later, the yellow brick road is leading us all to a campaign to help those less fortunate.

In partnership with Habitat for Humanity, Warner Brothers has launched a year-long campaign called There’s No Place Like Home celebrating the 75th anniversary of the classic film,  The Wizard of Oz. The initiative is not only driving excitement about the iconic film but also raising money to help support Habit for Humanity’s work to create decent, safe, and affordable housing.

“We are excited to be able to pay tribute to the 75th Anniversary of The Wizard of Oz and to Dorothy’s most famous line by kicking off construction of new home builds across the country with Habitat for Humanity as part of our larger, yearlong campaign called There’s No Place Like Home.,” Brad Globe, President of Warner Bros. Consumer Products told MSNBC.com. “Warner Bros. is committed to making positive contributions to the communities in which we work and live, and the There’s No Place Like Home campaign gives the studio the chance to leverage a beloved classic title like The Wizard of Oz to create awareness and support for a worthy cause.”

“Every day, in locations all around the world, we see how having a decent home can change lives and transform communities,” Jonathan Reckford CEO of Habitat for Humanity International said in the press release. “Adequate and affordable housing is foundational and stable housing is inextricably linked to better health, education and livelihood opportunities. The simple statement is true: There’s no place home.”

As the Wizard of Oz's  most memorable lines takes on a real life meaning through this partnership they are looking for us all to pay it forward. Each donation made through the website will be rewarded with a  Wizard of Oz themed gift to thank their loyal patrons for their contribution.
