While The Cycle’s kitchen table may not look like yours at home, each one of them grew up as part of the Middle Class and went after different opportunities presented to them in order to do better than their parents. This is a value they hope their own children will be able to achieve, even though the idea of reaching the American Dream is one that is getting harder to achieve.

But in the world we live in 40% of children living in poverty will never be able to find an escape.  

A recent Bloomberg BusinessWeek article, Poor Forever, examines the quickly growing income inequality in America that experts interviewed predict could take down the entire economy, even hurting those lucky 1%.
