Political Baseball: Romney is up to bat

It’s Thursday and with Mitt Romney’s acceptance speech happening this evening it is only fitting we continue with our political baseball analogy.

It’s Thursday and with Mitt Romney’s acceptance speech happening this evening it is only fitting we continue with our political baseball analogy. We have reached the top of the 6th with the Republican convention winding down and the democrats gearing up for their turn in Charlotte. The game is a virtual tie and it is anyone’s game.

To lead off the evening we will be hearing from Newt and Calista Gingrich, Former Governor Jeb Bush, Senator Marco Rubio, and then the man of the moment Mitt Romney. When Mitt steps up to the plate will he hit a homerun or will it be a strikeout?

Congressman Jason Chaffetz of Utah, who also happens to be Paul Ryan’s workout buddy, joined the conversation today to discuss Ryan’s speech last night and preview Romney’s speech tonight.
