Last night Los Angeles hosted the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards at the beautiful Nokia Theater. Despite overwhelming temperature's Hollywood turned out another stunning red carpeted event. With winning looks from the beautiful couple, Ellen Degeneres and wife, Portia de Rossi to the cleaned-up and dapper
Aaron Paul (who won his 2nd Emmy last night for his role on the acclaimed 'Breaking Bad'), the evening brought out some spectacular fashion.
It was an evening for the books to be true. Most notable highlight of the evening was not the wins of Modern Family or the 17 category loss of Mad Men (well...not in this quick fashion post that is). No, it was the surge of this year's hot color, neon yellow. In nearly every pan shot of the attendees, there was a quick pop of the bright color.
To be quite honest, the only reason I ever tune in to the '2 hours too long' awards shows is for the first 30-45 minutes of the red carpet entrances. When it comes down to it, the only really winners and losers are the ones that go down in either fashion history or fashion infamy. Need I remind you of Victoria Rowell's 2009 ode to President Obama? (I don't even want to post it on this post, so you can follow the link here.)
