'May the Fourth be with you' a true Star Wars Celebration

Happy Star Wars Day, or as true Star Wars fan say “May the Fourth be with you!”

As you might expect from a holiday drawn by a pun, May 4th brings a flood of Star Wars pictures to social media. From Yoda to Chewbacca to R2D2 everyone wants to get in on the action and celebrate a galaxy far far away.

"Star Wars Day really is about the fans, and we’re excited to bring it to life with the #CaptureTheDroid scavenger hunt. There’s no better way to celebrate than having fans participate, both digitally and live in New York, to help find the missing Droids,” a Verizon representative told msnbc.com “And as always, May the Fourth be with you all."

Using the hashtag #CaptureTheDroid, Verizon is inviting fans to “find the DROID Turbo by Motorola devices that are valuable to both The Empire and The Rebel Alliance. It’s up to fans to locate the DROIDs and save one for themselves before The Empire does,” the press release states.

This year is extra special for the nerodsphere as they are tingling with excitement over the Star Wars: The Force Awakens preview that was just released.
