Don't blink: Netflix leaks then pulls new 'House of Cards' episodes

Surprise, "House of Cards" fans! Without any warning, Frank Underwood made a brief TV appearance.

Those quick enough to log in to Netflix and begin streaming "House of Cards” Wednesday afternoon got a sneak peek of what's to come for Frank and Clare in Season 3 of the hit series. But just as suddenly as 10 episodes of the new season appeared online -- over two weeks ahead of the Feb. 27 scheduled premiere date -- they vanished again.

“Due to a technical glitch some Underwood fans got a sneak peak. He will be back on Netflix on February 27th,” Netflix said in a statement issued shortly after the snafu.

The show’s official Twitter account had some fun with the blunder:
