President Obama made a surprise visit to the Democratic National Convention Wednesday night. The president stopped by to listen to former President Bill Clinton nominate him for a second term. Following the speech, Obama joined Clinton on stage where the two embraced, creating a photo-op with the country's last Democratic president and one enjoying wild popularity.

"I want Barack Obama to be the next president of America," Clinton said. "I proudly nominate him to be the standard-bearer of the Democratic Party."

President Obama will speak at the event Thursday evening.
