Guilty: Russian agent admits conspiracy to push Kremlin NRA agenda

Russian national Maria Butina has pleaded guilty, admitting to trying to influence U.S. Politics in the middle of the 2016 election. Butina pleaded to a conspiracy charge and agreed to cooperate with federal prosecutors for failing to register as a foreign agent. The Rolling Stone’s Tim Dickinson tells “The Beat” that her efforts were “clearly well known among the highest ranking people in the Russian Government”.
