Dem. Sen: GOP worried about 'blowing up' in Kavanaugh hearing

09:01

The Senate Judiciary Committee has rescheduled the vote for Trump Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh to just one day after his accuser is set to testify. Senator Whitehouse tells Ari Melber Republicans on the committee are trying to “get through this as quickly as they can”. Whitehouse also comments on Republicans on the committee hiring a woman lawyer to question Kavanaugh’s accuser, noting it reveals “they don’t trust their own 11 white, male Republican Senators” to question her without “blowing themselves up”.
