North Carolina suburban women rally for blue wave in red district

In the suburbs of Charlotte, North Carolina, a group of women are organizing to push Democratic candidates to victory in the midterm elections. White suburban women are a demographic that President Trump won over in the 2016 presidential election. Dissatisfied with Trump’s handling of post-Hurricane Maria recover in Puerto Rico and the separation of families at the border, these women are making their voices heard and say they’re taking a stand for human rights.
