Tuesday's Campaign Round-Up, 10.20.15

Today's installment of campaign-related news items from across the country.
Today's installment of campaign-related news items from across the country.

* In the latest national Democratic polls, Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders by 20 points in the new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll; she leads by 31 points in the new Washington Post/ABC poll; and she leads by 27 points in the new Monmouth poll. In each survey, Vice President Biden is a relatively distant third.

* In Florida, the latest statewide poll from the University of North Florida shows Donald Trump and Ben Carson leading the GOP field with 21.7% and 19.3%, respectively. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) is now in fourth place, dropping to 9%, his first single-digit survey in his home state.

* The Republican Governors Association's on-again/off-again interest in the Kentucky gubernatorial race is apparently back on again. Just a month after the RGA seemingly gave up on Matt Bevin's (R) odd candidacy, the group invested another $1.6 million into the race yesterday.

* The latest Franklin Pierce University-Boston Herald poll shows Bernie Sanders continuing to lead Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire, 38% to 30%.

* As Rachel noted on the show last night, Trump and Carson have apparently requested Secret Service protection as part of their GOP presidential campaigns.

* Former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist (D) launched a congressional bid this morning. He's running for Rep. David Jolly's (R) seat, though Jolly is giving it up to run for the Senate.

* And as things stand, Lindsey Graham runs the risk of being left out of the undercard debate scheduled for next week, which would be pretty embarrassing.
