The Monitor of Concord, New Hampshire, reports today that Jon Huntsman has the "state all to himself." Not that it's helping him much. A new poll out today has Mitt Romney steady as ever in New Hampshire at 43 percent. The daily Suffolk University/7News survey for Wednesday drops Mr. Huntsman from third place to fourth, and from 10 percent to seven percent.

But candidate Huntsman is seriously out there working at it. The Huntsman campaign sent out this fundraising letter today:

What's clear from last night's results in Iowa is the field is completely unsettled and voters are looking for an alternative to Mitt Romney. While Iowa produced a lot of drama and no clear winner, Governor Huntsman was in Peterborough, New Hampshire holding his 150th event in front of a very supportive crowd of 400+ voters.

That event would be the one pictured above. Mr. Huntsman's got it on his Facebook page. The Washington Post has key bits from his appearance -- much of which boils down to a self-acknowledged underdog's appeal in a "state that always upends conventional wisdom." For what it's worth, the Keene Sentinel Source puts the crowd number at closer to 200.

The full Huntsman fundraising letter is after the jump.
