A group called the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property stormed into Ohio this week, bagpipes bleating. As you can see from this video by Marc Kovac of Ohio Capital Blog, they're against everything -- contraception, Obamacare, socialism, everything.
Protester: The underlying problem here is not the mandate itself, although that is very, very abusive. The main problem is socialism, because if this mandate gets passed, then what other mandates are coming down the pike? So we're here to oppose the socialist nature of Obamacare and to call for its repeal.Ohio Capital Blog: On the contraceptive issue, I keep there have been exceptions made for churches to, you know, not have to follow the mandate. Is that true? Not true?Protester: The exception or the compromise would be like putting a Band-Aid on cancer. It’s not going to fix the problem. We need to get rid of the problem, and the problem is Obamacare.Ohio Capital Blog: So you want to repeal the whole thing.Protester: Absolutely.
