The Lamentable Tragedie of Scott Walker, written and directed by Doug Reed, opened last Friday night at Madison's own Broom Street Theater. If you've been following news of the hotbed of protests amid union-stripping and budget cuts during Governor Walker's tenure so far this year, this is a playbill you might want to add to your collection.
"Penned in a "Fakespearian" style," the play's description reads, "The Lamentable Tragedie of Scott Walker is an account of Wisconsin's recent political upheaval, complete with soliloquies, swordfights, and codpieces."
