TRMSer Andy Dallos stopped by a new art installation in Times Square today called Heartwalk.
Meet me after the jump for a closer look and an understanding of what the name means.
The wood used in the piece is reclaimed from New York and New Jersey boardwalks that were severely damaged by Hurricane Sandy. You can see the holes from the nails that used to secure the boards from slipping beneath flip flops and roller blades.

That's Ipe wood, by the way. See also the Tabebuia tree.
