* A brutal crime in Oklahoma: "A Tulsa, Oklahoma, judge has ordered that Jake England and Alvin Watts -- the two men arrested in connection with Friday's shooting spree that left three dead and two wounded -- each be held on a $9.16 million bond."
* Syrian violence spreads: "Conflict in Syria burst over the borders into neighboring Lebanon and Turkey on Monday, with one Lebanese cameraman killed and at least four people, two Syrian and two Turkish, injured in fighting on the Syrian-Turkish border."
* All eyes on North Korea:
* The case is not going to a grand jury: "Forty-four days after unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin was shot in Sanford, Fla., all sides await a decision on whether there will be charges for neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman, who fired the fatal shot."

* Legendary journalist Mike Wallace died over the weekend. He was 93.
* And Howard Kurtz seemed rather disgusted that a Fox News anchor would disseminate "conspiratorial garbage" about President Obama. The anchor is Heather Childers, and Kurtz is right to be appalled.
