Today's installment of campaign-related news items from across the country.

* The Pennsylvania Supreme Court this morning ruled that the Green Party's presidential ticket did not properly follow state election laws and cannot appear on the Keystone State's 2020 ballot.

* In New Jersey, Donald Trump's re-election campaign this morning asked a federal court to block state election officials from beginning an early count of mail-in ballots.

* In North Carolina, a new USA Today/Suffolk poll found Joe Biden narrowly leading the Republican incumbent, 46% to 43%, while in the state's U.S. Senate race, Cal Cunningham (D) leads incumbent Sen. Thom Tillis (R), 42% to 38%.

* In Arizona, a new Monmouth poll found Biden leading Trump among registered voters, 48% to 44%, while in the state's U.S. Senate race, Mark Kelly (D) leads incumbent Sen. Martha McSally (R), 50% to 44%.

* In South Carolina, the latest Quinnipiac poll found Trump leading Biden by six points, 51% to 45%, while in the state's U.S. Senate race, the same survey found incumbent Sen. Lindsey Graham (R) tied with Jamie Harrison (D), with each garnering 48% support.

* On a related note, Harrison's campaign reportedly collected $1 million in contributions yesterday, fueled almost entirely by this poll result.

* In Maine, the latest Quinnipiac poll found Biden with a big lead over Trump, 59% to 38%, while in the state's U.S. Senate race, the same survey found Sara Gideon (D) with a surprisingly large lead over incumbent Sen. Susan Collins, 54% to 42%.

* In Kentucky, the latest Quinnipiac poll found Trump on track for a landslide win over Biden, 58% to 38%, while in the state's U.S. Senate race, the same survey found Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R) leading Amy McGrath (D), 53% to 41%.

* Billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson is reportedly planning a pro-Trump ad blitz, with an investment between $20 million and $50 million. It's worth noting for context that in 2018, the Republican president gave Adelson's wife the nation's highest civilian honor.

* And Kayne West's campaign vision is apparently starting to take shape, with the entertainer supporting government-sponsored religion in public schools and taxpayer funds for religious institutions. West, in other words, is partially reflecting the wishes of the religious right movement's agenda -- from the 1980s.
