An obscure superPAC is calling on Americans to boycott Beyonce's halftime performance at this Sunday during Superbowl XLVII because it will be "anti-liberty."

In a press release, the founder of "Elect A New Congress" Bill Fawall says Pepsi should be punished for supporting an "un-American" performance from Beyonce.

"If you look at Beyonce and this Jay-Z fellow, it's been pretty much in praise and celebration of the modern criminal police state," Fawell said. "And that runs completely at odds with liberty and in complete odds with me and I just couldn't sit still and not take some action to bring people's attention to this. We're going to turn you off. Pepsi, you just spent millions on a presentation that is un-American. We reject it and we reject you."

In a bizarre blog post on the PAC's website, Fawell describes Jay-Z as Beyonce's "cretin friend/manager/squeeze" with a "long history of serving up the godless Illuminati and their cult, celebrating it and their Nazi like police state."

Fawell also suggests on the blog that Superbowl fans switch to the Animal Channel for halftime, which hosts the "Puppy Bowl" as counter programming to the Superbowl. "Come half-time of the Super Bowl, turn to the Animal Channel and punish Pepsi who’s sponsoring this immoral travesty," he writes.

This is not the first halftime show that Fawell has objected to; he said Madonna's performance last year was the "Satanic/Illuminati Super Bowl Half-Time Show."

Liberty appears to be the only interest of this particular political action committee, which claims to support no candidate except for "liberty."

If you're considering whether to boycott Beyonce's performance, watch the singer perform the National Anthem at Thursday's Superbowl press conference, and decide for yourself if there's anything "anti-liberty" about it.
