President Obama making his case today in the tough democratic area in the battleground state of Pennsylvania. We say "tough" because according to the NYT, Scanton's unemployment rate stands at 9.7%, the Scranton highest in the state. The regional food bank in Scranton served a record number of meals on Thanksgiving, and the Democratic Mayor says people there are losing hope. And it's not like Scranton was a fan of Obama in 2008 - 75% of primary voters there picked Hillary Clinton.

What do you think? Can President Obama convince beaten-down communities like Scranton to give him 4 more years to keep fighting for them?
