Paul Ryan's policies for the poor

As Congressman Paul Ryan delivers his address on poverty and social mobility today, we thought it'd be good to take a look back at how the policies he has proposed in the past would impact low-income Americans. According to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, 62 percent of the spending cuts Ryan proposes in his 2013 House budget plan would come from programs that serve the poor.
