Hogan Gidley, former communications director for Rick Santorum's presidential campaign, predicted on NOW with Alex Wagner Tuesday that Democrats may be victorious in next week's special election for South Carolina's 1st Congressional District.
Gidley said political newcomer Elizabeth Colbert Busch could defeat former Governor Mark Sanford "by a point or two....From every poll I've read in the last couple of days, the cross tabs show it."
The seat was vacated by Republican Tim Scott when he was appointed to the Senate last December.
