Gut Check: Do you agree with the student's suspension?

An 18-year-old student spoke out for gay rights, ripping the Bible to prove his point and receiving a three day suspension for his actions

Eighteen-year-old Isaiah Smith was suspended from high school for three days after speaking out in support of gay rights and ripping the Bible to illustrate his point during one of his classes.

Smith believes the suspension is unfair and said, "At my high school, some kids like to say that being gay is a sin and that you can’t be gay and Christian. I wanted to bring my Bible to school and interpret the books of Leviticus and Romans, because they are often used to bully gay people.”
