Steve Coll, Dean of The Columbia Journalism School, is the author of “Private Empire: ExxonMobil and American Power.” Coll, a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner (among other awards), covers world catastrophes and international affairs. Along with the many books he has authored, he is known for his work in The New Yorker and The Washington Post.
Robert E. Ebel
Robert E. Ebel is a senior adviser in the Energy and National Security Program at CSIS (Center for Strategic & International studies). Previously, he spent eleven years working for the CIA and over seven years with the Office of Oil and Gas, U.S. Department of the Interior.
Lt. General Jay Garner (Ret.)
Lt. General Jay Garner, a now retired United States Army Lieutenant General, served as the director of the Office for Reconstruction and Humanitarian Assistance for Iraq in 2003.
Rob McKee
Rob McKee is director of QEP Resources, an independent natural gas and oil exploration and production company. Mckee assisted with the rebuilding of Iraq’s oil industry in 2003, serving as a senior oil adviser to The Coalition Provisional Authority and The Iraqi Oil Ministry in Iraq.
Dana Milbank
Dana Milbank is a columnist for The Washington Post. Author of “Smash Mouth: Two Years in the Gutter with Al Gore and George W. Bush,” Milbank covered both the 2000 and 2004 US Presidential elections.
Greg Muttitt Greg Muttitt, an investigative journalist, is the author of “Fuel on the Fire: Oil and Politics in Occupied Iraq.” Muttitt, who has been campaigning against the privatization of Iraqi oil since 2003, has worked directly with Iraq’s oil unions.
Meghan O’Sullivan
Meghan O’Sullivan formerly served as Deputy National Security Advisor on Iraq and Afghanistan to President George W Bush. She is currently a professor at Harvard University’s Kennedy School.
Ron Suskind
Ron Suskind, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, is the author of “The Price of Loyalty: George W. Bush, the White House, and the Education of Paul O’Neill.” Suskind is known for his books, which focus on national security issues and economics. His notable credits also include articles in The New York Times and Wall Street Journal.
Gary Vogler
Gary Vogler served as a member of the Energy Infrastructure Planning Group in 2002. He also served as the Deputy Oil Advisor to the Coalition Provisional Authority from 2003 to 2004.
Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA)
U.S. Representative, Henry Waxman (D-CA), served as chairman to the House Energy and Commerce Committee from 2009-2010. Waxman, who has been influential in passing many fundamental laws, is the sixth longest presently serving member of the House of Representatives.
Lawrence Wilkerson
Lawrence Wilkerson, Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell (2002-2005), is a retired United States Army Colonel. He currently teaches classes on National Security, serving as a visiting professor, at The College of William & Mary.
