Rochester mayor moves crisis intervention out of police department

Rochester Mayor Warren announced that in the aftermath of Daniel Prude’s death in the custody of police, she will move the family crisis intervention team and its funding out of the police department and into youth and recreation services. Warren also said the city will double its number of mental health professionals.
