Robert Crimo III, an Illinois man who police say for weeks planned the mass shooting on a July Fourth parade, has been charged with seven counts of first-degree murder. Lake County's State Attorney, Eric Rinehart, added that there will be more charges that follow, and said, "we should also ban assault weapons in Illinois and beyond."July 5, 2022
