Keith Kellogg, who served as Mike Pence’s national security advisor, told the January 6 committee that he advised Donald Trump against holding a live press conference during the Capitol riots. Rep. Adam Kissinger recounted Kellogg’s statement that Trump’s advisors knew his state of mind at the moment and “were worried what he would say in unscripted comments.”
