Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump was heckled by a crowd of enthusiastic Ted Cruz supporters at a caucus location in Wichita, Kansas, on Saturday.
Their displeasure with the businessman came as Kansas Republican voters select a candidate whom they think will best contest a Democrat in the general election.
"I love you all, and give us a good result. I guarantee you it'll be one of the greatest votes you'll ever make," Trump said in his address to the crowd.
Saturday's GOP caucuses in the state are expected to receive large turnouts, reported The Kansas City Star.
The Republican race in Kansas is competitive, the most recent poll predicted. The survey by the Trafalgar Group, released on Friday, shows Cruz trailing Trump by 6 percent in the Sunflower State.Kansas has 40 delegates to the Republican National Convention this summer -- they will be awarded proportionally based on the results of today's caucus.
