National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden has left the Moscow airport where he has been holed up for over a month, his lawyer said.Snowden, the former NSA contractor who blew the lid on secret U.S. surveillance programs, has been granted refugee status and can stay in Russia for one year, his lawyer Anatoly Kucherena confirmed to NBC News.Kucherena said he would not disclose Snowden's location for security reasons. WikiLeaks confirmed on Twitter that the 30-year-old American had left Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport under the organization's care.
