A 24-year-old Florida woman met with Los Angeles Police detectives for two hours Wednesday morning to detail allegations that comedian Bill Cosby drugged and sexually abused her in 2008 when she was attending the "Mid-Summer Night's Dream" party at the Playboy Mansion.

After the meeting, attorney Spencer Kuvin told reporters outside the LAPD's downtown headquarters that his client had spoken to investigators to seek "justice and accountability." Chloe Goins was 18 years old and a guest at the mansion party when the attack took place, he said. According to Kuvin, she says she was drugged, blacked out and awoke to find herself naked and the naked comedian standing over her.
Kuvin said the allegations were "a serious matter involving potentially serious allegations of drugging my client and alleged sexual abuse."
Goins, who did not address reporters, is the second woman in recent months to meet with the LAPD and make allegations against Cosby.
Kuvin said his client did not immediately go to authorities out of shame and embarrassment and because Cosby is a powerful figure in the entertainment industry. But he said Goins was encouraged to come forward by other "brave, smart and sophisticated women who for years have lived with this secret."
Marty Singer, an attorney for Cosby, could not immediately be reached for comment but in the past has vehemently denied the allegations against his client.
"This continued pattern of attacks on Mr. Cosby has entered the realm of the ridiculous," Singer has said previously. "This is utter nonsense. People coming out of nowhere with this sort of inane yarn is what happens in a media-driven feeding frenzy."

In all, some two dozen other women have come forward to accuse Cosby of sexual misconduct — charges which began to surface a decade ago when the former director of operations for Temple's women's basketball team sued him for allegedly drugging and assaulting her in 2004.
In December, Judith Huth told LAPD investigators that the comedian allegedly plied her with alcohol and then sexually abused her at the Playboy Mansion in 1974. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office declined to file charges because the alleged offense had been committed decades ago.
