Legendary sportscaster Stuart Scott lost his battle to cancer on Sunday. The ESPN "SportsCenter" anchor, who was known for his energetic coverage and catchphrases "Boo-ya” and “as cool as the other side of the pillow,” was 49 years old.

After Scott's death, athletes, celebrities and politicians took to Twitter to express their condolences. Among them was President Barack Obama, who said the ESPN personality inspired America with his "courage and love."
