Too Young to Die: Ragee Clark

The 16-year-old often cleaned the house before his mother's arrival home from work.

Ragee Clark, 16, often helped his grandmother by volunteering with children at events as part of New Jersey's Division of Youth and Family Services, where she worked. He especially enjoyed the holiday season because Christmas was his favorite celebration.

Ragee, a junior at Destiny Academy in his hometown of Paterson, N.J., spent most of his free time with his two best friends, playing basketball. They competed on Xbox in "NBA 2k12" and "NBA 2k13."  His mother, Kawanda Holmes, told msnbc that when she worked late, Ragee helped to prepare his three younger sisters for bed. He'd feed and dress them, and even tidy up the house before his mother's arrival home.

Ragee died eight days after being shot by five assailants on March 9 while walking home in Paterson.
