Perez, along with President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, and countless other prominent Democrats — and even a few Republicans — are on a Twitter campaign to #RaiseTheWage to $10.10 an hour. The federal minimum wage is currently $7.25.
