A deadly tornado ripped through Oklahoma City and its suburbs Monday, killing dozens, injuring scores more, and flattening  homes, schools, and a hospital.

A deadly tornado ripped through Oklahoma City and its suburbs Monday, killing dozens, injuring scores more, and flattening  homes, schools, and a hospital.

As the search and rescue mission continued, Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin described the destruction as "horrific."

President Obama vowed to help the state "as long as it takes" and said that "Oklahoma needs to get what it needs right away.”
