Sunday morning talk show round-up:
- On ABC's This Week, Speaker Boehner said he "wasn't going to apologize" for leading on the debt ceiling debate, not backing down on his challenges to President Obama on a debt ceiling stand-off this summer.
- On CBS' Face The Nation, Sen. Mitch McConnell said "this president needs to become the adult" when it comes to the long-term debt, adding that he and Speaker Boehner "have been the adults."
- On NBC's Meet the Press, Rep. Paul Ryan said that he believes the election winner will determine what happens in the lame duck session. He then avoided at least two other attempts by David Gregory to clarify whether Ryan means that if Obama wins in November, then Republicans would be willing to compromise and allow some tax hikes on the rich.
