As the Supreme Court delivered a historic decision that ruled in favor of same-sex marriage, social media was flooded with responses from D.C. to Hollywood.

As the Supreme Court delivered its historic decision in favor of same-sex marriage, social media was flooded with response from Washington, D.C., to Hollywood. After the landmark ruling was announced, #SCOTUSmarriage#LoveWins, and #ObergefellvHodges almost immediately became top trending topics on Twitter. 2016 candidates were quick to weigh in from their social media accounts and were largely divided along party lines.

Brands, celebrities, and organizations didn't hold back from responding either, many with colorful photos, videos, and fan-friendly content.
