Los Angeles kids, teachers gather on beach with an eco-friendly message
LOS ANGELES, CA - JUNE 7: More than 5,000 Los Angeles kids, teachers, and volunteers form the shape of a shark and shield that reads "Defend the Sea" in a bid to 'shield' the ocean from trash as part of the 19th annual Kids Ocean Day Adopt-A-Beach Clean-Up sponsored by the Malibu Foundation, City of Los Angeles and the California Coastal Commission.
