Prince released "Baltimore," his protest song addressing unrest in the city, Saturday on SoundCloud, ahead of his Sunday "Rally 4 Peace" concert in honor of Freddie Gray.

A spokeswoman for the singer previously said the song "addresses the unrest in Baltimore and the socio-political issues around the country in the wake of a slew of killings of young black men." The death of Gray, who suffered a spinal cord injury while in police custody last month, set off protests, riots and a state of emergency declaration in the city.

The song's release comes the day before Prince's "Rally 4 Peace" concert in Baltimore, where he is expected to be joined by "several industry superstars," according to event promoter Live Nation, who did not name them. The pop star is asking the crowd to wear gray clothing in honor of Gray.
