While Donald Trump dominates Twitter, Republican rival Jeb Bush appears to have mastered a different 21st Century trend: the selfie.
The former Florida governor held an impromptu seminar in West Palm Beach Monday, during which he taught several hundred people at a campaign event just how he captures the perfect self-portrait using his smartphone.
"The selfie is now the 11th Amendment of the Bill of Rights," Bush quipped after an audience member asked how selfies have changed campaigning. "It's inspired by our framers and founders apparently. It is a requirement that you take one, and I do it with great joy in my heart."
Bush addressed the selfie question with the characteristic wonkishness that many of his supporters once thought would help him nab the GOP nomination. “It’s cooler to do it diagonally rather than straight up, remember that," said Bush. "And it is better to do it higher than lower because you look skinnier.”
