TEL AVIV — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday signed an agreement with the far-right Jewish Home party leader Naftali Bennett to make a coalition government, 90 minutes before a midnight deadline, sources told NBC News.

Netanyahu agreed to hand the Ministry of Justice to Ayelet Shaked who is number two in Bennett's party.

The coalition will rule by only the slimmest of majorities, 61 of 120 members in Israel's turbulent parliament.

A press conference was expected soon to formally announce the new collaboration.
