Call it by another name and Republicans might be more supportive of Obamacare after all.
According to a new Fox News poll, a revision of the question’s language caused an 8% spike in Republican favorability for President Obama's signature health care law. The findings show 22% support the Affordable Care Act (the law's official name) versus only 14% for Obamacare.
The pollsters rephrasing to the law’s actual name caused overall support to rise from 34% to 39% –- a 1% increase for Democratic support and 4% among independents. About 900 registered voters were polled via live telephone interviews from September 6 to 9.
