Johnny Depp has lent his comedic talents to a "Funny or Die" film, in which he plays none other than real-estate-mogul-turned-presidential-front-runner Donald Trump.
The faux biopic, titled "Funny or Die Presents Donald Trump's The Art of The Deal: The Movie," was released Wednesday and is available for online streaming. Comb-over in tow, Depp is practically unrecognizable in this bombastic role. The 50-minute movie was shot over the course of four days in early December, and production was kept under wraps for months. The title of the film is derived from Trump's 1987 book "The Art of the Deal," in which the business mogul gives readers his take on how to succeed in business and deal-making.
The movie was released just after Trump's impressive victory in Tuesday's New Hampshire primary. The GOP front-runner dominated the Republican field, with 35% of Granite State voters casting ballots for him. Trump's closest competitor, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, received 16% of the vote. Trump is now leading in the delegate count and is expected to have another strong performance in the South Carolina primary on February 20.
In addition to Depp, the "Funny or Die" film features "Saturday Night Live" actress Michaela Watkins as ex-wife Ivana Trump. Jack McBrayer, Patton Oswalt, Alfred Molina, Andy Richter and Henry Winkler also make notable appearances.
