Forest fire rages in Chilean city of Valparaiso
A forest fire in the coastal city of Valpariso, Chile has forced nearly 5,000 people to flee their homes, Reuters reported.

A forest fire in the coastal city of Valpariso, Chile has forced nearly 5,000 people to flee their homes, Reuters reported. That number could more than triple if the fire advances, according to Chilean emergency agency Onemi.
One woman has died of cardio-respiratory issues, according to Reuters, and two firefighters have been hospitalized. No homes have been impacted so far.
Just last year another forest fire hit the Valpariso, killing 15 people and destroying more than 2,000 homes, according to Reuters. Forest fires are common in Chile this time of year, according to the report. Below are several photos of the massive blaze.
