FORECLOSURE FOR CHRISTMAS: This may have been the last Christmas Courtney Scott, a retired nurse, got to spend in her modest suburban Atlanta home. On Monday, as her battle to grab and hold onto the American Dream entered its fifth year, Bank of America sent her another foreclosure notice – her fourth. Though the housing market continues its halting recovery, thousands of homeowners such as Scott are still struggling in the aftermath of the worst financial collapse since the Great Depression.
