One person was killed in a four-car accident involving reality TV star and former Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner.

According to NBC Los Angeles, Jenner was uninjured in the accident and is said to be cooperating with authorities. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star was reportedly driving a Suburban SUV with a trailer carrying a dune buggy in the back. Reports intially varied on the number of the cars involved in the crash, but the L.A. Sheriff's Department have said that there were four and that the deceased driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Seven people sustained minor to moderate injuries in total.

Police also said that at this time it doesn't appear that paparazzi were the cause of the incident, as had previously been reported.

Meanwhile, Jenner did a blood and alcohol test at a local hospital and took a DUI exam on the scene of the crash. The 65-year-old has been under intense media scrutiny over the last few weeks due to speculation that he may be transitioning from male to female.

While he has not publicly confirmed or denied the rumors, an unnamed source allegedly close to his family told People magazine in late January: "Bruce is transitioning to a woman."

"He is finally happy and his family is accepting of what he's doing. He's in such a great space. That's why it's the perfect time to do something like this," the source told People

The cause of the collision is under investigation by traffic investigators and there is no other additional information at this time. Meanwhile, the Pacific Coast Highway was temporarily closed as police surveyed the scene.
